Mulberry School offers a continuous learning model that nurtures the whole child. In preschool, our curriculum supports social, emotional, and pre-academic growth. By Kindergarten, children engage in cooperative learning through whole and small group activities.
Students explore multi-disciplinary, project-based experiences alongside focused academic skill-building. With activities like dramatic play, movement, and Readers Theater, learning is both creative and engaging. Guided by Illinois Learning Standards, our teachers design flexible, inspiring curriculum.
At every stage, children are encouraged to make choices that build independence, confidence, responsibility, and respect—emerging as capable, compassionate individuals.
We invite you to come explore, play, and learn at Mini-Meerkats. Our engaging learning experiences offer opportunities for your child to enhance their social and emotional skills, language development, physical abilities, and cognitive growth.

Mulberry preschool students achieve developmentally appropriate goals through hands-on, child-centered activities in both small and large group settings. Our curriculum aligns with the Illinois State Board of Education Early Learning and Development Standards. Children also have the opportunity to experience a variety of specials, including music, art, drama, cooking, and Spanish, depending on parent participation. Our preschool teachers create a learning environment tailored to meet the needs of both individual children and the group as a whole.
